How to Convert Video Files
Cameras shoot in formats optimized for storage, not playback. Social platforms require specific resolutions and codecs. Older TVs and phones don’t understand newer containers. Whatever your reason for needing a different format, MDHM Video Converter handles the conversion in a few clicks.
Step 1 - Install and open the app
Download and install MDHM Video Converter, then launch it.

Step 2 - Add a video file
Click Add on the toolbar and select your file, or drag and drop it directly into the window. You can add multiple files for batch conversion.

Step 3 - Choose output format
Click the format button on the toolbar. You can pick from a preset (iPhone, Android, YouTube, TikTok, Apple TV, etc.) or choose a specific format and configure it manually.

Step 4 - Set save location
By default, converted files are saved to a Converted folder inside your Videos directory. To change this, go to Preferences.

Step 5 - Start and wait
Click Convert. Processing time depends on file size, output settings, and whether your GPU acceleration is active. When finished, click Locate to open the output folder.
