How to Convert APE+CUE to MP3 and Split into Tracks
Monkey’s Audio (APE) is a lossless format popular in certain parts of the world for archiving CDs. Like FLAC, it often ships as a single file with a CUE sheet. APE has even less device support than FLAC, so converting to MP3 is usually necessary for everyday use. MDHM Audio Converter handles the split automatically.
Step 1 - Add the APE file
Launch MDHM Audio Converter and drag the APE file in, or use the Add button.

Step 2 - Split by CUE
When a CUE file is found in the same folder (often named image+.cue), the app offers to split the file into individual tracks automatically.

Step 3 - Select MP3
Open the format dropdown and choose MP3.

Step 4 - Configure settings
Set the bitrate and sample rate. 320 kbps is a safe choice for lossless source material.

Step 5 - Start
Click Convert to begin.

Step 6 - Parallel processing
All tracks are converted simultaneously. On a multi-core machine this is fast even for large albums.

Step 7 - Find the output
Click Locate when done to open the folder.
